Cathedral of Compassion Deliverance Church was founded in 1985 by the late Apostle

Vannoy Cole Sr. The vision God gave him for the ministry was to lead souls to salvation and

prepare them for Heaven. Apostle Cole was a man of great faith and impeccable strength.

He believed in the salvation of his family and always made it a point to take his children to

church. Preaching the Gospel, obeying God's Word, fasting and praying were all his

passions. In the community, along with his wife  Evangelist Ruby Cole, Apostle Cole

touched many lives as they led souls to salvation and led people

to be filled with the Holy Ghost. God also blessed them to begin a

street and radio ministry in which many miracles were worked.

Several churches were licensed under Apostle Cole's ministry

He pastored  in various cities in Texas where he actively gave and

gave with all his heart. Apostle Cole was very instrumental in

church by serving in whatever area there was a need, such as:

driving the church van, cleaning the building, and visiting the sick

and shut-in. He played many different instruments, including the

drums, guitars, the saxophone and was a gifted songwriter. He was

a man of great joy who passionately praised the Lord and did so with all his heart, spirit,

mind, body and soul. With his last breath he left this earth praising the Lord. Apostle Cole

left a great legacy at Cathedral of Compassion Deliverance Church one that has been going

strong ever since. To God  be the Glory!
